"The Cloud" exists already....

For anyone who runs a Windows PC, the vaunted "cloud computing" environment already exists. Without most of us realizing it, large collections of computer systems - CDNs, botnets, grid-enabled NOCs, hosting centers, etc. already provide the type of computing power environments that connect our PCs to a world of search engines/databases/upgrades/virus signatures from many vendors.
